Industry Analysis
Industry insiders point out that the fishing progress at the beginning of 2026 was generally stable. The Far East region still maintained its absolute dominant position in the national fishery output, especially the rhythm and scale of the pollock fishery were basically in line with the trend of the A season in previous years.
At present, the fishing of pollock in Russia is in a concentrated upward phase. With the arrival of fishing vessels one after another and the recovery of processing capacity, it is expected that the supply of frozen raw materials will increase significantly starting from February, and the price trend of related exports will also be closely watched by the market.
